We’ve seen the posts. We’ve heard the requests. Now, at long last, the day has finally arrived to make good on our promise: Cuphead is available on Mac. What’s more, we’re putting the game on sale through this weekend! To our Mac-inclined friends: your patience and enthusiasm has been much appreciated, and we can’t wait for you to share your own stories of your time exploring the Inkwell Isles. To mark the occasion, we’ve prepared a little short that we’re (appropriately) calling Crisp Apples.

Cuphead has arrived on Mac and with it has come a new animated short. A little over a year after its release on Xbox One and PC, Studio MDHR has now released, on Apple’s Mac computing platform. Available now on both Steam and GOG, Cuphead for Mac offers the same experience that you’d find in both the PC and Xbox One versions of the game.

Oct 19, 2018 - Ontario-based Studio MDHR's hit Cuphead game is finally available on Mac, and at a 20 percent discount to boot. Cuphead is now available on Xbox One, Windows 10, and macOS. It is an Play Anywhere title and also available on GOG. It is currently discounted for the macOS launch.

To celebrate the arrival on this new platform, Cuphead has been marked down to by 20% to $15.99. This sale will last from now through October 22. By far the best part of Cuphead coming to Mac though is that Studio MDHR took the opportunity to create a new animated short for its launch.

This video, which is attached at the bottom of the page, is entitled Crisp Apples and features both Cuphead, Mugman, and a new character with an apple for a head. After this apple-headed fellow stumbles upon Cuphead and Mugman as they are eating apples, he freaks out. It’s a goofy little video, but it reminded me of why in the first place. Cuphead is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Mac.
